We started birding about twelve years ago, and our interest in photography has grown, and is now almost obsessive. Most of the images on the site have been taken locally in and around the North-West, with more of Jackie's images appearing on the site as her interest in photography grows.

We use Nikon equipment and have a D300s and a D200, with these we use a Nikon f/4 500mm m/f p lens, and a Nikon f/4 300mm af-s lens, sometimes using Nikon 1.4, 1.6a and 2x teleconverters. We also use a PK-13 extention ring and Cannon 500D close focus diopter.
